2009 was a year of major changes in the NJ environmental consulting field. The passage of the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) in May created the need for Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) and will change many of the regulations which affect nearly all NJ commercial and industrial establishments as well as some homeowners. Also, the relatively new Child Care regulations are undergoing a major change as well, with three NJ Departments working together to promote a safer environment for our children.
JM Sorge, Inc. (JMS), a leader in the environmental management field, has been proactive in preparing for these various changes. Peter Sorge was designated a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management in August. Joseph Sorge was certified as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) by the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice in April, completed the Toxicology and Industrial Hygiene Certificate Program of Drexel University in September and most recently, the NJDEP certified Joseph as a LSRP. Two other Senior Managers have their LSRP applications pending.
JMS has over 20 years of dedication in providing quality services and meeting the complex and continually changing environmental regulations that affect businesses and communities. JMS has provided a broad range of environmental services for a diverse group of clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. JMS provides the service and expertise clients require to achieve project goals that support their strategic business plans, on time and within budget.
JMS will continue to provide unmatched value for our clients in this new era of environmental regulation in NJ.
