JMS was founded in 1986 by Joe Sorge, a scientist devoted to creating practical solutions to complex and continually changing environmental problems. Sorge founded the NJ environmental firm on the premise of a "simple solution" — a stark contrast to the big firm approach to environmental consulting. Although JMS has since expanded and diversified, staying true to this core competency has helped the company grow and become one of the leading NJ-based environmental consulting firms.
