Environmental Management Services & Oversight

Due to our extensive experience, JMS is frequently called upon by insurance companies and others as a resource to evaluate environmental concerns for coverage determination and to provide project oversight.

Our claim oversight services are designed to streamline investigation and environmental remediation activities and to confirm that the services rendered by the insured’s contractor are being performed in a cost effective and expedient manner. JMS is certified by the NJDEP in tank closure and subsurface evaluation, and we work closely with claims adjustment teams to bring each claim to a successful conclusion.

JMS provides the following insurance claim investigation and oversight services:

• Third party coverage determination
• Collection of samples for forensic analysis (age dating and source content)
• Contractor oversight and claim management
• Remedial investigation activities for project closure
• Remediation management and oversight
• Evaluation of contractor invoices for appropriate and general industry charges
• Preparation and submittal of technical reports for No Further Action approval
