Peter Sorge Gives Presentation at NJ Land Conservation Rally
JM Sorge's Peter Sorge, along with NJDEP's Michael Buriani, presented "Land Conservation: Recent Changes in Environmental Due Diligence Required on Land Conservation Projects" at The New Jersey Land Conservation Rally on Saturday, March 19 at Brookdale Community college. The rally was held to discuss NJ land conservation, preserving open space and farmlands.
The presentation covered policy changes, Green Acres funding, the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), and provided information and resources on available grants for remediation projects.

The rally had 30 workshops, 14 roundtables and a keynote address by Annie Griffiths, National Geographic Society photographer and author of "Last Stand: America's Virgin Lands". Other topics covered included Land Strategies in the Age of Solar, Connecting Teens to the Conservation Community, Historic Properties, and more.
